Awesome product! This has given me the confidence to get out and do more open water swimming in preparation for a triathlon. Great for safety (sighting & floating if needed) but also great for throwing my car keys in so i dont have to leave them on the beach.

Whistle doesn’t work and no response from customer support

I was excited for buying another Volare item having a few pieces of gear already. However one of the key features (the whistle) doesn’t work, and it’s a key safety piece for when we’re out on the open water.

I’ve reached out to customer support and have chased a few times to understand whether it’s a known issue, but haven’t had any response or acknowledgement. It’s sad that this good quality item is let down by one of its key safety features.

Open water swim buoy.

Used the open water swim buoy straight away swimming out to the buoy in Torquay, Victoria. It is a fabulous, and necessary swim aid in my open water swimming. As I am not a fast, or very strong swimmer, it gives me confidence to know I can have a rest if needed, and also gives peace of mind to my fellow swim group already back on the beach to spot where I am and see I am do it okay. I’m also getting feedback on how straight (or not), I’m going when swimming out; which is extremely important as we swim next to where the boats go out.
